A good friend of mine who sends in his car to me for detailing every year end, didn\u2019t contact me last year. I was shocked not because he didn\u2019t send his car or contacted me but rather he sold his car and got an A45 for me to detail instead!!! Yay!<\/p>\n

The paintwork is of medium hardness I would say, not crazily soft or too hard or flexible which allows no room for correction. It is solid white, clear coated with zero metallic flakes. Well apparently being in the hands of my friend for only 5 days, this car came in with some light swirls and holograms (Probably the paint got \u201cbutchered\u201d when it left the port and\/or right before delivery from the showroom)<\/em>. I used polishing foam<\/strong> with OSREN Perfect Finish No.8<\/strong> to correct the paintwork. Rotary Buffer speed used was around 1400 \u2013 1700rpms with medium to light pressure.<\/p>\n

I spent like 4 hours just to correct the paintwork. Why? Sometimes it\u2019s not about the ending but the process in getting there. I was enjoying the session while admiring the beautifully crafted body panels. The concave and convex surfaces highlights its beauty, giving it a not too complex but sleek finish. The red and black combination gives it just the right amount of contrast which stands out from boringness and LaLa.<\/p>\n

(*LaLa = a Malaysian jargon, is to be described as an overly bold fashion combination which are, in a way unique, but\u2026\u2026.. not widely accepted by the norms)<\/em><\/p>\n

On the other hand, don\u2019t be fooled by the size and its engine displacement of only 1991cc. It produces an amazing 360hp and its acceleration from 0 \u2013 100km\/h in mere 4.6 sec!! The owner, my friend, of the A45 took me for a test drive upon collecting the car and BOOM!! The bursting and crackling back fire effects upon up-shifting and downshifting is just too damn crazy and addictive! Really wanna get my hands on one of these! haha<\/p>\n
